The Bankruptcy Judges who handle cases for Bergen County are Judges Gambardella, Papalia, Sherwood, and Meisel. However, in the majority of Chapter 7 cases, you never see a judge.
If you file Chapter 7, your case will be referred to one Trustee from a panel of Bankruptcy Trustees. Once assigned, the Trustee will be responsible for that case until the judge releases him or her from the case.
